Well,… Tim Ducati setelah dari Assen Belanda,… bergerak menuju Mugello Italy,… dimana tim Ducati sangat berharap Rossi bisa menunjukkan prestasi terbaiknya di “Home race” Mugello …!!! Tim sayangnya tidak ditemani oleh Jeremy Burgess,… mengingat kudu balik ke Australia menemani istrinya… yang sedang sakit dan kemungkinan akan dioperasi …!!! Posisi Burgess sementara akan diisi oleh Max Bartolini,… yang biasanya berperan sebagai Team Technical Manager.

Memang di Mugello ini prestasi Rossi relatif cukup ‘ditakuti’ oleh para racer lain …!!!  Dari tahun 2002 s/d 2008,… Rossi selalu juara 1 di Mugello… ia dianggap sebagai ‘pawang’ nya Mugello …!!! Hanya di tahun 2009 ia posisi nya juara 3… dan di tahun 2010 tidak ikut race karena cidera ….!!! Catatan waktu terbaiknya pun dipegang atas namanya yaitu 1’48.130 detik …. di tahun 2008 …!!!  So,… Ducati berharap banget bahwa Rossi bisa membawa Ducati GP11.1… sukses disana …!!!

“First of all I’d like to wish good luck to Jeremy, who won’t be able to join us this weekend due to very important personal reasons. We’ll miss him very much in the garage, but we look forward to seeing him at the Sachsenring. In the meantime, we must try to do well at Mugello. We’ve ridden there with the GP12, but because our bike is an 800, it responds a little differently to adjustments, and it’s also in its first phase of development. It will be vital to quickly find the right path for the setup, as it’s important that we improve in every session in order to qualify in a good position. The track is one of my favorites, and I’ve always done pretty well there. Returning after last year’s accident is no problem for me, because I enjoyed riding there during the recent tests, as I always do. I hope there will be a big crowd and that I’ll be able to do better than we’ve managed until now, because this is a very important race.”

Last,… tim Ducati pun sedang mempersiapkan Ducati frame step 2 dan set up yang lebih pas…. sehingga racer Ducati baik Rossi maupun Hayden akan lebih mudah dalam menghandle Ducati …!!! Apakah Rossi akan bisa naik podium di Home race nya… yaaagh kita tengok saja race di hari minggu nanti ….!!! 😀
